Melbourne is like a home away from home for us. It’s one of our favourite cities to visit thanks to an incredible food scene, vibrant nightlife, and art everywhere you go. As the end of the year neared, we decided a quick weekend trip to Melbourne was in order. After all, it had been roughly four years since we’d last visited! This time around, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Quest Flemington Central, creating content around the hotel during our four-day stay.
A beautifully curated spot, Quest Flemington serves both comfort and style. Our spacious two-bedroom apartment had it all going on, from stunning natural lighting and plenty of room to stretch out, as well as lovely little details such as books to read, marble kitchenware, and abstract art pieces. The living room was as aesthetic as it gets, including a bold printed couch and striking rug to match. At all times of the day, it was drenched in natural light thanks to ceiling-to-floor windows that gave way to a gorgeous view of the racecourse. Whenever we had a spare moment, we liked to chill out here, reclining back with a good book and cup of coffee.
With 66 apartments in total, it’s a large hotel ideal for business travels, leisure visits and family stays alike. However, out of all the great things Quest Flemington has to offer, our favourite inclusion would have to be the heated rooftop pool. This pool is designed infinity-style with postcard-worthy views of Melbourne’s skyline. It’s the perfect place to read, relax and enjoy a little sunbathing. Around the corner is a super cute BBQ area also, surrounded by plenty of greenery to liven up the space. Who doesn’t love a hotel with a good rooftop, right?
After long nights of partying and days of walking around exploring Melbourne’s winding laneways, we loved coming back to our plush bedding and quiet rooms. Hangovers were spent splashing around in the pool, while pre-drinking sessions consisted of popping open champagne bottles and gorging down gourmet antipasto in the art-filled living room. Getting to and from the CBD was an easy tram ride away, stopping right out the front of the hotel to save our tired feet. We’d love to one day come back for a longer stay — these rooms get very homely very quickly.
