Young Adelaidian hipster, Chloe Grayling, is the crafty entrepreneur behind the artisan candle brand: Chloe Jane Candle Co.
Chloe’s candles are handmade from a blend of natural and local ingredients, with every candle being 100% soy wax and coconut oil. The current range consists of nine divine scents including crowd favourites ‘Revitalise’ (mandarin, coconut, amber and lime), ‘Golden’ (vanilla caramel) and ‘Fiesta’ (passion fruit, orange and honeydew).
At just 19, Chloe developed her brand which was inspired by her life-long passion of making soy candles. The candles aim to capture a ‘natural, bohemian and luxe’ lifestyle which is clearly replicated in the aesthetics of the candle.
Whether you’re looking for some aromatherapy to ease the stress of exams, or you still haven’t bought your Mum a Mother’s Day present because your other gift was conveniently ‘lost in the post’, rest assured because there is most certainly a delicious flavour in the range for you.
Chloe Jane Candle is based in McLaren Vale, and being a true Adelaidian, she keeps plenty of her stock local. Adelaide based boutiques including Get 2 in the Moose, Fresh Hair and Body, Empty Hanger, Furbish, Artel Gallery and My Girl Lollipop Boutique all stock the candle range, however the aroma does not stop there. The candles are also available for purchase at the local Gilles Street and Flinders Street Markets, as well as from her website.
Despite the success and growth that Chloe Jane Candle Co has enjoyed since its launch in early 2014, each candle is still hand poured into its frosted glass container as Ms Grayling wants to ‘ensure that each product is made with the love and care they are worth’.
Local, vegan, handmade candles that smell soy good. The perfect gift for your friend who is impossible to buy for. I’ve solved the insolvable. (You’re welcome).
Happy Sniffing!
