Having to wear glasses is not so bad when the selection is a range of fresh, modern, feminine and wearable classics. Inspired by cinematic personas throughout decades, Australian designer, Kym Ellery has teamed up with Specsavers in sharing the ELLERY brand exclusively in stores.
On Thursday night, we were amongst a few of the lucky ones invited to preview the new ELLERY eyewear Collection at Specsavers Rundle Mall. Spoiled with a goodie bag on arrival, the stunning launch event was held on location with champagne and nibbles, plus the opportunity to be styled by the Specsavers Rundle Mall Team.
The ELLERY range features strong, architectural silhouettes and expresses a sophisticated signature style, brought to life through an exploration of exaggerated shapes and rich textures. A colour palette of black, marbled charcoal, tortoise shell, cobalt blue, bottle green, gold and brushed gold is offered, with each pair branded with a gold foil logo.
“For me, eyewear is a crucial part of personal style and I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to create a collection of frames with Specsavers,” says Kym Ellery.
Presented with 14 glasses and six prescription sunglasses, we absolutely fell in love and bought ourselves two pairs! This new aesthetic range has combined masculine with feminine, including the modern cat’s eye, oversized square and round shapes.
