If it’s sass and sex appeal you’re after, look no further than Blanc De Blanc Encore at Adelaide Fringe.
What is it about Blanc de Blanc that makes it so damn… sensual? Well, for starters, the Strut & Fret cast are simply tantalising. From start to finish. Make sure you’ve made room for dessert, because you’ll be filling up on eye candy the whole way through the show. Picture it now; uncannily sculpted physiques adorned with glittering jewels that cover next to nothing. There’s even a segment where the whole troupe are swanning around wearing only bath towels. It’s true, nudity is always welcomed at the Fringe.

Not sold yet? How about we sell you on the comedy aspect? It’s definitely one of our other favourite parts about Blanc De Blanc Encore at Adelaide Fringe. The blossoming bromance between two young French men is a downright hoot. Being your hosts for the night, this humorous duo will keep you cackling from open to close. Whether they’re picking on an audience member, cracking silly puns or lubing their genitals up for an exquisite composition of penis acoustics (yes, this really happens), you’re never short of laughter.
And then there’s the talent. Boy, is there talent. You’ll see incredible acrobatics, but not just taking up the stage. The acrobatics take up the entire room, with cast members twisting and turning above your very heads (if you’re sat premium, that is). They come so close to the heads of the audience members that we wonder if they ever accidentally just whack a poor soul right in the nose with their feet. We have a feeling they wouldn’t. The choreography is tight and transitions are polished to pristine perfection.
Blanc de Blanc’s theme of ‘drinking champagne and getting drunk’ is one we can certainly get around. Was there ever a theme more becoming of the Adelaide Fringe? So, keep your glasses full and your spirits high… the Blanc de Blanc cast help you do both throughout the show.
