Glenelg’s Marina Pier transformed into a spectacular, sunny, seaside runway on Saturday afternoon to host a fashion parade from local designer Pari.
Pari’s two labels Angel Wings and Jophiel showcased a range of summer dresses, roped netting ponchos, frayed denim, kaftans, jewellery, cultural pieces and accessories.
Tribal inspired kaftans and dresses which gracefully flowed behind the models were complimented by sleek low ponytails with feathered hair accessories.
My favourite look would have to have been the white blouse with metallic shorts and a fabulous crochet kimono (reminiscent of a fishing net) which could be taken from beach to bar with ease in the coming summer months.
As well as clothing, Pari also stock an eclectic range of homewares and furniture. You can find them at 61F Jetty Rd, Glenelg.
