Calèche Bridal House Launches Dreamy New Collection

Calèche’s new bridal collection ‘La Boheme’ was launched on Wednesday night, whereby twenty-seven dresses were presented at their chic Chapel St store in Norwood. Accentuated with perfectly pretty cakes from Cristarella and rosé from The Lane, the night was full of fabulous gowns and fabulous fabrics. The collection featured rippling silks and gentle tulles, expertly draped to flatter. Chief Designer Liz Foubert said that she allowed the materials to influence the styles of her new collection.

“We love making our wedding dresses and we love our brides,” Liz proudly told the crowd at the launch. She emphasized Calèche’s focus on making sure each individual Adelaide bride finds the perfect gown. Liz has been the Chief Designer at Calèche for twenty years, and her new collection is a celebration of the elegance of the female form.

The twenty-seven bridal gowns exhibited were diverse and dreamy. The dresses featured fitted bodices with both classic and modern necklines, many with subtle glimmering details. Some dresses cascaded from the models’ waists into full flowing skirts, but others hugged the hips in a graceful display of femininity. ‘La Boheme’ celebrates Adelaide wives-to-be with something to suit each individual modern bride.

Lucy Carnes hosted the evening, and announced that for every dress from the new ‘La Boheme’ collection, a Calèche dress will be donated to Minda’s ReStyle Sanctuary in Brighton. Calèche have supported the sanctuary in the past by donating 50 bridal gowns last year, along with 20 mother-of-the-bride dresses.

Brides-to-be can view the ‘La Boheme’ collection or have their dream gown made especially for them at the Calèche Bridal House in Norwood.
