An old UK haunt of ours has just touched down in Sydney and we couldn’t be more excited. Flight Club is a chain of bars centered around playing darts, which is a game I wouldn’t say I’m particularly good at, but it is a good excuse to go drinking. Back when we were living in London, Flight Club was one of my favourite options for a date night. It’s something a little different, something interactive, and something to stir the competitor within, which is always a fun way to break the ice on your first date.
Launching with a huge party this Thursday, Flight Club brought together media and influencers for a night of darts, beers and cheesy pizza — the ultimate trio of fun. The interior itself had me feeling nostalgic the moment I stepped inside. It’s just like the UK venues, with its cosy nooks, warm lighting and buzzy atmosphere. There are little rooms which can make your darts experience feel private and exclusive, as well as a DJ booth and plenty of seating around the bar area to relax while you wait for a dart board to free up.
I absolutely love the way Sydney’s Flight Club feels just like I’m back in London again. It has that distinctive casual pub set-up and vibe, which is another reason why it’s great for date night. Sometimes, a casual setting and warm fit-out is all you need to kick off a great date, especially in these winter months.
