Hotel Richmond launch their spring/summer menu

Under strands of twinkling lights and draping white curtains, Hotel Richmond officially launched its spring/summer menu for 2017 to the delight of a selected group of guests. Just in time for the longer days and sunnier weather that Adelaide has to experience, the menu offers much for even the fussiest of eaters, with refreshing drinks to compliment swimmingly.

Guests were served a trio of entrées to share as a prelude to the main course. Serves of arancini, tomato and basil aioil were perfect for suppressing the appetite, yet not overly filling, leaving room for a main course meal. Pumpkin and goats curd tart served with rocket and beetroot relish provided a fresh crunch, with a texturally satisfying contrast of soft and crunchy to round off the dish.

The main course was a slightly spiced Thai Red Curry that comes with both a vegan and chicken option for diners, allowing for a versatile and well-rounded option with much variety. Risotto with sundried tomato pesto and goats curd created an explosion of flavour on the tongue, accompanied by  a creamy, velvet texture that went down an absolute treat.

Desserts offered a refreshing palate cleanser with airier, lighter density and quintessentially summer flavours. Featuring the likes of passionfruit, raspberry, orange crème caramel and cherry delight ice creams, our Hotel Richmond tasting ended on a delightful sugar high. These particular desserts are a highlight feature on Hotel Richmond’s new spring/summer menu and are fitting for a relaxed Sunday afternoon or after work catch ups.

Yay for sweets.

Cocktails feature aplenty with gin being the focal point of the drinks for this summer; let’s face it, floral and citrusy gins will always be the go-to beverage of choice for the warmer seasons! The cocktail menu is available to the public from October 22nd.

Hotel Richmond is conveniently located at the heart of the city and can be found at 128 Rundle Mall. So, next time you need a break from summer shopping in the mall, or need to organise a quick an easy catch up at a central location, there’s no doubt Hotel Richmond will be calling your name.
