High tea at a french patisserie is always going to be a real treat, so we knew we were going to have a fabulous time at Brigit’s Bakery before we even arrived. You’ve probably spotted the pretty pink decor, daintily decorated cakes and floral-decorated doorway all over your social media, and this Instagram hotspot is definitely one to put on your list.

Afternoon tea comes with a traditional three-tiered stand of sandwich slivers, savoury pastries, mini cupcakes and petit fours, as well as scones with jam and cream which come out after. Our favourites were the salmon pretzel with chives, cream cheese and cucumber, as well as the vanilla and raspberry jam choux.

The tea menu is extensive and covers everything from classic to contemporary, so whether you’re after a simple green tea or a fruity concoction, Brigit’s Bakery has got you covered. We decided to try the Courtisanes tea, a lovely light green tea with blackberry, blueberry, vanilla and clementine oil, sprinkled with orange peel and rose petals.

Also on the menu is beautiful French champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice, which can be enjoyed on their own or combined to make a mimosa.
