Lucky’s Beach Club has made its return to The Maid Hotel this year, creating the ultimate inner-city beach club experience for Adelaidians.
We attended the official launch last week to check it all out, getting ourselves dolled up to party in true Hamptons-style. The outdoor set-up was lush, featuring a sandy beach and grassy lawn areas. We particularly loved the intimate villa-style booths, where groups could get together and share jugs of aperol spritz.
White floorboards lined walkways for guests to make their way to and from the main bar situated in the middle of the space. It was good to see the bar was sizeable, which meant a lot less waiting to get served drinks and more drinking drinks!
Guests truly rocked the Hamptons attire, with loads of Ralph Lauren polos, pastels, white flowy dresses and sparkling summer acccessories.
In terms of events, there will be the Lucky’s Night Markets coming up to Christmas, which will be a hot spot for last minute gift-sourcing. Lucky’s Beach Club will also see the Catalina Wine Mixer event take over, one which has been hugely successful in previous sellout years. Oh and, if you’re in search of a party to head to on Christmas Eve after your family duties, Lucky’s will be bringing in Adelaide expats Tom Kurzel and Tim Haslam for a night to remember.
Watching the sun set over the palm trees at Lucky’s last weekend, we sensed some serious summer vibes. Lucky’s is definitely going to be the place to be on the days you can’t make it to the beach this summer!
