The weather is warming up, and if you’re anything like us your summer body isn’t quite ready yet, your skin is pasty af and your toes could definitely do with a pedicure.
We find the quickest and easiest way to get beach body ready is with a quick spray tan. There’s something about coating your winter skin in a soft, golden glow somehow makes your legs look longer, your skin look healthier and your body way more toned.
Unfortunately, loads of tanning products use harmful chemicals that can damage your skin. Local beauty therapist Natalie Watson noticed how unaware many of her clients were about what chemicals they were putting on their skin, and set about to change this.
The Little Tanning Co. is a brand new, Hyde Park located salon that only uses natural and organic tanning solutions. Once you’re inside, Natalie pops a warm cup of tea in your hand, urges you to relax and sets about discussing with you how she’s going to help you get the best tan for your skin.
Natalie wants to help educate women about what products they’re using, and how some products can react differently on individuals.
“I was always very conscious of what my clients were using in their self tans and how certain ingredients could have adverse effects on individuals.
“I want to offer my clients an alternative to sunbaking or turning to tanning products that aren’t suited to their skin, by sourcing the best tan solutions on the market that contain natural and organic ingredients,” said Natalie.
Natural products, like the ones found at The Little Tanning Co., use ingredients like argan or Moroccan oil, aloe vera, coconut and vanilla.
We popped into the salon and received one of the best spray tans of our lives. Natalie mixed a combination of colours together to achieve the perfect shade for our skin tones, and we couldn’t count the amount of compliments we’ve had from people while we’ve been tanned.
If you’re ready to ditch your pale, ghostly skin, you can find Natalie at at 1A Park Street, Hyde Park, inside Rachel Kate Lashes Salon.
