Saying our final goodbyes to Little Miss Dive Shop and Crab Shack at the end of last summer was challenging for the majority of us, but it seems the tides have turned as Superfish has seemingly popped up overnight in the previously unused space.
The boys behind The Social Creative and The Happy Motel have joined forces in creating the space, which offers us a taste of the brand-spanking new Crown & Anchor Hotel, located on 188 Grenfell Street. With the support of Gerry Karidis, the landlord and property developer, the revamp of the Little Miss Group space is gearing up to entertain us through these balmy nights once again.
Friday night was the opening launch of Superfish and with its fresh facelift, clean white timbers and masses of greenery, the outdoor garden made the perfect summer’s night.
With twice as much smoke and a South American inspired food menu, expect to see a titanic amount of seafood with charcoaled flavours, a ceviche and oyster bar, sashimi, slow-cooked meats, and seasonal veggies.
On the dranks end, it is a must to make your way to the back of the venue to try our new favourites – froze (frozen rose) and Superfruit Margaritas at ‘Fruity’s Exquisite Juice Bar’. The collaborative project also has a widespread local range of bevvies, including local South Aussie beer, vino and cocktails served all night long!
Throw in a line, let your hair down and enjoy the new digs!
