Two weeks ago, we excitedly shared with you all that Handpicked Festival announced two Australian ARIA award-winning sensations onto the bill and we were suuuuuper stoked! But now we have some even more thrilling news that will get you jumping off your seat…
Joining the already announced electro-pop artisans, The Veronicas and iconic noughties rockers, Killing Heidi, two more MASSIVE acts have been added to November’s Handpicked Fest.
Melbourne’s four-piece rockers, British India and one of Australia’s biggest electronic acts, The Potbelleez will be making an appearance – Woooaah, Handpicked Festival has just got that much bigger!
At the peak of their career with the release of their latest single, “I Thought We Knew Each Other”, British India are set again to take on the world and the biggest festival stages.
Also on a major upward trajectory from the release of their newest anthem, “Horney”, The Potbelleez will return to Australia after globe trotting, writing and recording new material for the past year. The ARIA nominated Irish-Australian three piece are no strangers to the big stage and promise to get the Handpicked masses dancing into the night!
Event Manager, Kate Cooper says, “The additions of British India and The Potbelleez is a great success for the region. It’s a fantastic opportunity to truly showcase all the greatest aspects of the region to local and national visitors.”
Also announced today alongside British India and The Potbelleez is Adelaide’s very own Jesse Davidson plus Sasha March and Tympano – two winners of the Handpicked social media completion.
Only fifty minutes south of Adelaide, festival organisers are warning that spaces within the Handpicked Tent City are filling up fast! Be sure to snap up a space for those of you traveling in from Adelaide or further afield.
