Following LFW, we attended Alexandra Roman’s fashion show and party at Sanderson London, hosted by events-based social network The Button Club.
The Sanderson is a sleek and sophisticated venue, providing a divine setting for a runway with an aesthetic that was undoubtedly on-brand with Alexandra Roman‘s classy collection. Boasting a ceiling laced with draping floral arrangements, a long cocktail bar stretching right through the main room and a super chic interior design, Sanderson is every Insta-girl’s dream. The venue hosted a swarm of frenzied folk in light of the event, with things getting a little crazy as the crowd grew rapidly in size. It was quite an impressive turnout for talented up and coming UK designer Alexandra.
The room was buzzing with excitement as the runway began, with models gliding through a magical courtyard garden and past the bar, getting snapped every which way. Designers on show included Alexandra Roman’s own designs, L’Atelier Couture by Loredana Ciangau, Stephanie Pratt (Made in Chelsea) and Sinclair London by Alicya Sinclair. It was a notably feminine range with a hint of corporate chic. Think flowing, silky dresses in pastel and dusty pinks alongside powerful pantsuits tailored to perfection.
One of our favourites was an Alexandra Roman structural cape blazer in white, featuring an asymmetrical button-up front and elegant, shaped shoulders. It was the ultimate boss-woman look and would transition perfectly from daytime to nighttime wear. A sparkling sequin number stole the show, coming out fiery in a bold fire-engine red and giving us come serious Jessica Rabbit vibes.
Another one to steal the spotlight was a natural silk gown by L’Atelier Couture that flowed magnificently down the runway. The luxury item was embellished with Baroque lace details, complementing the seriously opulent chiffon material. Retailing for £900.00, this romantic pastel pink piece is one for an evening to remember such as a red carpet event or formal.
Alexandra Roman’s launch was undoubtedly a success and, with such an eager turnout of guests, it was definitely a night to remember. To view the Alexandra Roman collection, follow the link here.
