As the June long weekend rolls around once again, there is always the last-minute Sea & Vines Sunday scramble.
“What are my friends and I going to do?”
We hear you ask.
“Is it too late to book something?”
Well, luckily S. C. Pannell at McLaren Vale has you and your friends covered for a spectacular Sunday session on 10th June with ‘Tanino & Tango’!
For a Sea & Vines experience that won’t (necessarily) leave you feeling sorry for yourself on Monday, the team at SCP have organised a decadent Latino-themed feast fit for royalty.
Complete with Tango dancers, a Latino band and DJ, face painters and the unveiling of a brand new SCP wine, the event promises to be a far cry from the playsuits and posers – a true cultural experience.
Award-winning owner/winemaker Stephen Pannell’s brand new ‘Tanino’ is a deliciously hearty Malbec blend that is sure to pair delectably with the array of Latino-inspired food from the chefs.
Your pre-purchased ticket includes a complementary glass of Tanino, a feast of chargrilled carne, bollo do caco and scrumptious Portuguese custard tarts and an afternoon of vibrant entertainment the only way the SCP team knows how.
If this all sounds a little familiar, you’d be right; in 2016, the distinguished winemaker held a Day of the Dead-themed party for the release of his ‘Dead End’ Tempranillo – a wine which has since become a mainstay in wine bars and restaurants throughout the state (as well as nationwide).
If you attended that or any other party hosted by the Pannell crew, you know that these guys throw one hell of a party.
Tickets are still available at $90 per head via Moshtix, at seaandvines.com.au or in the cellar door should you choose to pop in and check out the chic SCP setting for yourself.
¡Vamos, amigos!
