One of the most important events of the year Nutella-Palooza is almost upon us, gracing our hearts and stomachs on the 9th of April at Bonython Park. Our mouths are already watering at the thought of a whole day spent eating deliciously gooey Nutella hearts, sipping on icy sweet Nutella milkshakes and biting into crunchy Nutella macarons.
This free-entry event promises to be everything a Nutella-lover could want; with a Bracegirdle’s Chocolate Pavilion featuring cake displays and chocolate demonstrations, a White Marquee Baker’s Lane full of Nutella-themed goods from many of Adelaide’s tastiest bakeries, cafes and ice-creameries and forty of South Australia’s best food trucks, as well as a special guest appearance from Melbourne’s Nutella Food Truck.
Cooking demonstrations using Nutella will be running all day with appearances from glorious cake maker Jessica ‘Messy Jessy’ Liebiech, macaron king Alex Crawford and the mega milkshake ladies from food truck The Little Cake Tin.
For those after a drink with a little more of a kick, Steve the Bartender has created a selection of delicious Nutella-based cocktails and Big Shed Brewing Co. have crafted a Nutella-inspired beer.
We have been dreaming of this day since early 2016 when the event was first making the rounds on Facebook. With 19,000 people interested in the Facebook event, Nutella fans had better get in early to celebrate this glorious day, or risk missing out.
