We are back at it again with one of our fave UK labels Religion. You’ve heard us go on and on about how lightweight and beautiful the fabric was for their spring-summer collection, and how versatile the summer-trans pieces were. We’re not at all surprised to be writing again how much we love EVERYTHING we were gifted from the autumn-winter range, and how many times we’ve been outfit repeating these pieces.
In Religion’s autumn-winter lookbook, they’d styled the Relativity Trousers in Caramel Snake with the Division Jumper Dress to create an outfit Kristen was LIVING FOR. The jumper dress is really soft, warm and cosy, and she usually pairs it with a wide belt around her waist when she wants to add some shape. As well as looking amazing with the trousers, she’s also worn it a few times paired with some tights and thigh-high boots, Ariana Grande style, which is a super cute going out look for when the evening is chilly. The trousers nail the smart casual look perfectly, being suitable for work when paired with a turtleneck and coat. The sporty side stripe adds a sartorial element to them though, which means they can also be dressed up/down for other occasions, and Kristen loves wearing them with a lace bodysuit and heels on a night out.
Kristen also styled the Saturn Wrap Dress, a really comfortable and flattering pick accented with sheer blouson sleeves. The fabric is a little lighter than the pieces she styled above, making it perfect for those in-between days where it can be cold but also really humid. It was the perfect piece to chuck on in the evening for dinner when she was in the Amalfi Coast (can confirm it hides pasta belly very well). She’s also worn it out in London with a belt, tucking one side of the hem into it for an asymmetric look that’s a little more dressy.
Mel also selected the Saturn Wrap Dress (honestly, who doesn’t love a good wrap dress?) as well as the Interstellar Jumpsuit in Khaki. She wore the jumpsuit to London Fashion Week paired with a chunky leather and chain belt to give it some edge and a chic black felt hat, creating a look all the street style photographers LOVED. The jumpsuit is made from high-quality fabric that feels beautiful and drapes flatteringly across the body. Mel paired it with heels for fashion week, but you could easily dress this jumpsuit down with some sneakers, an oversized coat and a simple belt for more casual days.
