Recently, we collaborated with Religion Clothing, styling a few of their pieces for a little photo diary shoot in Central London. Upon receiving the items we’d picked out, we must say, the first thing we noticed was the quality in materials and how nice they felt upon first touch.
We picked out two items each: Mel chose the Inglorious Maxi Dress in Black and the popular Motive Jeans, while Kristen also chose the Inglorious Dress, except in Moroon, and the Ombre Jet Black Maxi Dress.
The Inglorious Dress was such an elegant piece in movement, with a draping maxi skirt that floated ever so effortlessly. The sheer mesh material featured an almost tiger-like print and an iridescent sheen woven throughout, adding this subtle touch of luxury that made it so beautiful under bright light. We both loved this piece as a daywear dress, transitional for the evening with a pair of strappy heels.
For something a little more casual, the jeans worked their magic paired with a cropped jumper and block heels. The denim was thick and strong, with this gorgeous sparkling studding lining the waistband and side leg. They gave off a kind of rock-chic vibe, with this relaxed flared fit that made them comfortable for long wear during the daytime.
A very bohemian style, the Ombre Jet Black Maxi was something simple yet sophisticated and perfect for those warm weather days. Featuring a bardot style neckline and made of a similar flowing chiffon to that of the Inglorious dress, this piece radiated femininity and class.
We’re due for our next collaboration with Religion soon on the release of their Summer Trans 19 Collection, so keep an eye out for another photo diary of beautiful items very soon!
