While back in Australia for a short trip, our fave Adelaide PR agency Girl About Town invited us along to the launch of Coco Flamingo, a new brunch spot in North Adelaide.
As the name suggests, Coco Flamingo is a bright and summery space where you can get your drink served in a coconut and the food is bursting with the bright colours of fresh fruit and veg. Dishing up wholesome, nourishing plates that are designed to cater to all manner of dietaries, they use only the freshest produce and you can really taste the difference.
At the launch we sipped on vibrant smoothies and nibbled on raw salads and zoodle bowls, full of loads of vitamins and minerals to boost our bodies. Kristen’s favourite dish was the Vegan Protein Waffle Bowl, filled with lots of goodies like strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and passionfruit.
Coco Flamingo’s tropical décor makes you feel like you’re away on a rejuvenating trip to Thailand or the Philippines, rather than ten minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. Lots of white makes the space feel really open and welcoming, while bright pops of pink and leafy green add some summery touches. Hanging wicker chairs and plenty of soft cushions create comfy nooks to relax in and also make great spots to snap an aesthetic pic for the ‘gram.
If you’re looking for a place to refresh and recharge in Adelaide, head along to Coco Flamingo and get ready to treat your taste buds and your body to some delicious nourishment.
