If you enjoy a glass of Shiraz and a cheese and pickle platter as much as we do then Barossa: Be Consumed is a must-see experience! This new one-day food and wine event will launch in Melbourne on July 22 and will showcase one of the country’s greatest wine regions, South Australia’s Barossa.
Brought to you by the Barossa Grape & Wine Association in partnership with Bottle Shop Concepts, the event will consist of an array of fine wines from over 40 wineries including Sons of Eden, Henschke and Hentley Farm.
There will also be over 140 styles of Australia’s most renowned wine to try with an emphasis on the region’s distinctive style of Shiraz.
Dan Sims, Director of Bottle Shop Concepts, says “The Barossa is arguably one of Australia’s best food and wine destinations. We can’t wait to bring the best of the Barossa to Melbourne for one day”.
And if you’re not so much a wine drinker, don’t worry – there will be a selection of beer, cider and gin to try as well as an immersion of exquisite food platters on offer from many local producers.
So make sure to check out this all rounded experience into the food, culture, history and character of what makes this region incredible.
