In a world where the effects of climate change are becoming more and more apparent (e.g. the recent hot summer in London), it’s more important than ever to be conscious of what we eat and drink. Taking things to the next level, Ketel One Vodka has partnered with KeepCup and wild food expert James Wood to create a selection of sustainable cocktails and nibbles at The Refinery Regent’s Place.
The month-long pop-up is available until November 24th, where you can head along to the Conscious bar and sip on a drink while swinging on their immersive swing. Each drink on the menu has been made from perfectly good ingredients from the kitchen which would otherwise be thrown away. Our personal favourites were the ‘Veg Patch Mary’ and the ‘Green Mary’, two variations of the Bloody Mary. Each has been made using orange vegetable scraps and green vegetable scraps respectively, as well as a healthy dash of hot sauce and Ketel One Vodka.
As well as the innovative menu, if you purchase an eco-friendly KeepCup from the Conscious bar The Refinery will give you a complimentary Ketel One Vodka Espresso Martini as thanks.
If you’re keen to try your hand at making your own sustainable cocktails, there are two Ketel One Vodka Masterclasses being held. The first is a Bloody Mary Masterclass with the World of Zing hot sauce founder and the second is a Totally Wild Cocktail Masterclass with Totally Wild UK founder, James Wood.
