Last week, we were invited to join a bunch of other local bloggers and influencers to participate in Gathered SA’s Style Challenge at the Queen’s Theatre.
The challenge involved us having to coordinate and style different items from some of the vendors who will be at the Gathered Market next month.
We were definitely spoilt for choice with a huge array of vendors including Namoi Designs clothing, Tomich Wines, Applewood Distillery gin, Pixie and Co candles, and Cutting Etch Design, just to name a few!
There were a number of flatlay stations and Insta-worthy backdrops for our creative juices to flow and we ended up spending a good four hours styling and photographing!
We played around with the different items from each vendor, changing and swapping until we got the perfect lighting, angle, and shots.
After a while of playing with flatlays, we couldn’t help but get into the photos ourselves, showcasing some of the items and accessories. And, of course, as every style challenge goes, the night ended with confetti showers!
The aim of the night was for us to showcase the items that will be available to purchase at the Gathered Design Market next month, with local small business vendors manning the stands.
Gathered Design Market ran this past weekend, with live acoustic music to set the mood, workshops to get creative, and a delicious selection of food and drink stalls. Our photographer Erin Paterson collated a little photo diary of the markets, which you can see below.
