New winter warmers arrive at Cibo

“Winter is the time for heartier, comforting meals.” 

That was the take-home message at the launch of Cibo Espresso’s Winter Menu for 2017. With the addition of fresh takes on homemade favourites, the South Australian favourites introduced their winter offerings at an intimate gathering at the O’Connell Street branch of the franchise.

Guests were treated to samples of Cibo staples, like the scrumptious chocolate cannelloni we all know so well. Exciting new sweets to the Cibo family were also introduced, like the show stopping Neapolitan cupcakes that are all things sugar and spice.

Scrolls and panini featured aplenty with savoury delights favoured among tasters, with a particular penchant for zucchini and pumpkin scrolls. The menu for winter 2017 looks to be one that features the essence of winter culinary delicacies: spice, warmth and just a hint of density that’s needed to fill stomachs in the cooler months.

Cibo has proudly partnered with South Australian company Beerenberg, based in the Adelaide Hills region, keeping with their ethos that supports the local industry. Cibo expressed how much the company values its ties to local produce and emphasised its integral effect on the 2017 menu.
