Step inside Renew Adelaide’s latest project, Moonshine Laboratory – a creative tech hub as part of local digital agency The Distillery – boasting innovation, ideas, and collaboration, helping everyday people to realise their entrepreneurial dream and making it happen with their partnership. Set in an old yet funky renovated building on Flinders Street, Moonshine Lab looks like a mix between a high school science room and a communal university lounge area, letting off a relaxed, techy, and cool vibe.
Natural light illuminates the large space, complete with a ping pong table dominating the entrance point, a number of sparkly and new Apple desktops and hanging plant features against industrial style walls and windows. Upon entering, it is clear that this is a place where creative things brew.
Managing director of The Distillery, Jason Neave and Christian Ullmark from Moonshine Lab let us in on what Moonshine Laboratory is all about at their launch last Thursday evening, introducing one of their clients Nicole, who founded the app Gusto – a creative means of transforming screenshot recipes into shopping lists. As Nicole shared her journey with us, we learnt a little about how Moonshine Laboratory helped to push her business to the next level. Nicole has teamed up with Woolworths on this venture, where she has already gained various opportunities to present her business in Sydney in front of large audiences.

Many try and fail because they don’t have the support they need, or don’t know how to make their idea better. This is where Moonshine Lab comes in… Head to their website for further information!
