It’s time to lace up your dancing shoes and get just a little bit crazy, because Adelaide Charity Events is holding its third pub crawl – this time for the Animal Welfare League.
Set to take the CBD by storm on Friday the 14th of July, the annual event has gained a great deal of traction and support since its genesis in 2014, with businesses now queueing up to jump on-board for a worthy cause.
The 2017 Hell Good pub crawl, which has already attracted the interest of more than 600 people on social media, will take punters through some of Adelaide’s premier nightlife venues.
Super California, Fat Controller, Distill and Sugar join the party this year, both offering free entry at different times during the night as well as a host of drink specials.
The newcomers will be accompanied by now-veteran charity crawl partners Black Bull, Dog N Duck, Red Square, The Woolshed and, of course, the reason anybody goes anywhere, Zambrero!
ACE founder and coordinator Michael Phillips said it’s a fantastic opportunity to get out and about while raising awareness for a good cause.
“It’s really a win-win-win,” Phillips said.
“Adelaide’s nightlife venues are supported and get extra people through the door, while the Animal Welfare League receives exposure and donations which allow them to continue their work, all while everyone has a great night.”
Phillips said the growth of the event over the past two years is a testament to Adelaide’s civic spirit.
“It’s amazing to see how the event has grown so large since the first pub crawl. I’m glad people recognise the event as a platform to get out, be social and also make a difference in the community.”
Purchasing a shirt grants access to all the aforementioned specials, as well as a $10 free bet at Skycity Casino Adelaide.
Crawlers also go into the draw to win some fantastic prizes thanks to local sponsors F45 Flinders Park, Raw Supply Co. and Hell Good Beverages.
