This June, Adelaidians have the opportunity to attend a lavish dinner with a difference for CanDo4Kids, hosted by global success story Andre Eikmeier of Vinomofo.
Dinner in the Dark will feature a tantalizing four-course degustation menu with expertly matched wines from partners such as Tomich Wines, Howard Vineyard, and Kilikanoon.
The point of difference? The guests will be blindfolded as they work their way through the menu. Immersed in complete darkness, attendees will throw themselves into a world where taste and smell reign supreme.
The philosophy behind the idea is to subdue our dominant sense (sight) in order to welcome a new appreciation of taste and smell. By stepping into the shoes of those who cannot see, guests will be supporting an admirable cause.
Dinner in the Dark will support an estimated 10,000 South Australian kids living with a vision or hearing impairment. You can treat yourself, while knowing that $50 from each ticket will go towards CanDo4Kids.
This wonderful event has done incredibly well in previous years, but this year is set to be their brightest yet. Throughout the event, there will also be opportunities to bid on an array of fine items, and guests will go in the draw to win return flights to Europe.
Dinner in the Dark will be hosted at the National Wine Centre on the 2nd of June. Further details about this intriguing event can be found on the CanDo4Kids website.
