For more than twenty years, Palas Jewellery has dazzled us with their stunning collections of charm bracelets and necklaces.
The recent launch of their ‘Charmed to Meet You’ series take inspiration from some of Australia’s most prolific women: Megan Morton, Megan Park, Tiff Manuell, Marnie Gilder, and Kelly Baker-Jameison.
To go along with the collection launch, Palas Jewellery sat down with each of these women to find out what makes them tick.
Entrepreneur, stylist, and founder of The School, Megan Morton, loves her Palas jewellery so much you will never find her hands bare!
Having explored fashion and style her entire life, Megan says that by the time she was ready to launch herself into the professional business world, she already felt like she had done the 100,000 hours of work needed to be considered an expert.
Megan has been sharing her knowledge and experience since the launch of her project, The School, where she provides numerous style workshops to aspiring Sydney stylists. The School specialises in all things styling, design, shibori, screen printing, watercolour, with even a trip to the one and only Paris coming up in September for her students.
Megan’s chosen Palas Jewellery collection features pieces such as the Crescent Moon Charms that she feels drawn to due to the beautiful way the elongated shape hangs, and the totally flexible Silver Charm Bracelet that looks just as good empty as it does full of charms!
The big question now is who would Megan be charmed to meet?
“I would say Millicent Rodgers the American heiress who pioneered the silver Native American jewellery movement and launched it into high society. She mixed turquoise with haute couture in a way that can only be described as sensational.”
Megan sees jewellery as part of a bigger integrated style story and maintains that style is an expression of your own unique story.
