The ultimate Groovin’ gig guide for this years festival go-ers!

Back for it’s third year at Oakbank, Groovin the Moo will be held on ANZAC’s Public Holiday in April. Following two very successful line-ups, this year holds an impressive list of Australian and International acts, featuring the likes of Odesza, MS MR and Ratatat, just to name a few. If you really want to make the most of your golden GTM ticket, here are some Aussie acts you will not want to miss:

Alison Wonderland

Her debut album ‘Run’ landed #1 on the US Electronic Billboard charts, featuring collaborations with Lido, Safia and Slumberjack to produce some of the biggest Electronic hits from the past year. Tracks like “Run” and “U Don’t Know” have made it’s debut at some of the biggest festivals over the globe such as Coachella and local Stereosonic Australia, but the producer, DJ and vocalist will take the stage at this years Groovin the Moo for a thrilling set.

Golden Features

Sydney’s fast rising star producer Tom Stell has managed to keep his identity a mystery over the past two years behind a golden mask since releasing two of his biggest tracks “Tell Me” featuring vocalist Nicole Millar and “No One” featuring Aussie local Thelma Plum. Since his breakout tunes, Golden Features has landed remixes with International legend, Porter Robinson and is now bringing his electronic sound to the festival in April.

The Rubens

From a country town in New South Wales, brothers Sam, Elliott and Zaac Margin worked with friends Scott Baldwin and William Zeglis to produce their platinum self titled album in 2011. Since then, The Rubens have managed to take the world by storm, selling out a national tour as well as taking out the #1 podium in Triple J’s Hottest 100 2015 with indie rock anthem “Hoops”.  The five-piece band have performed at every corner of Australia and won’t stop, even after they storm the stage at Groovin the Moo this year.

Even though you have all the details on the top three Aussie artists to see at Groovin the Moo next month, don’t forget to make time for freshly-added West Therbarton Brothel Party, your local Adelaide triple J unearthed winners who will make their festival debut this year!

Groovin the Moo will run from the 23rd April until the 7th May, appearing at rural towns amongst each state.
