Iconic Magill establishment the Tower Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million-dollar facelift to reveal a new beer garden, dinning areas, revamped menu and even a cinema.
Nestled in the Adelaide foothills, the GM Hotels heritage listed building since 1840 has transformed to offer five fresh, revamped spaces.
Owner, Greg Maitland, says the redevelopment caters for all members of the community.
“Previously, the Tower has attracted an older demographic, so we wanted to make sure we offered something that appeals to everyone.”
Right across the road from Uni SA’s Magill campus, the Tower is the perfect go- to destination for students and young people.
The iconic pub’s sports bar has been transformed into a chic ale house, with 14 beers on tap, fresh hops growing in the venue and the ability to cater to to 120 people. The hotel’s main bar has also undergone an overhaul, developing its dynamic new beer garden, touted ‘The Garden Bar.’
The newly revamped venue is the perfect destination for families with a new cinema designed to keep kids entertained while their parents unwind. The theatre can seat up to 40 children, who can feast on popcorn, a choc top or fairy floss while watching their favorite family films.
Though all your classic pub favourites are still on the menu, the food has been revamped to appease the calorie conscious too with a new range of super food salads. Alongside the Tower’s team of chefs, the hotel has enlisted the help of a qualified nutritionist to ensure the menu is healthy, flavorsome and balanced.
The new look Tower Hotel is now open to the public at 621 Magill Rd, Magill.
