Gold Coast’s favourite producer Paces will be speeding his way through little ol’ Adelaide this weekend with a massive show at Fat Controller, on Friday 13th May. With support from Melbourne up-and-comer Running Touch, Paces will be showcasing the best of his hugely successful debut album ‘Vacation’, which dropped just over two months ago.
The Queensland native has enjoyed a massive year to date with both the LP and a support slot on US producer Dillon Francis’ national tour, and now he’s headed back to Adelaide’s hottest new venue to show us what he can do!
Paces’ unique brand of Tropicana-style summer house is as versatile as it is now-recognisable. ‘Vacation’ typifies his style and, with features from the likes of Jess Kent and Guy Sebastian (yes, Guy Sebastian), it’s not hard to tell this man is making waves throughout the music world.
Even before the debut album, though, a breakout 2014 saw Paces hitting soft spots in the ears of many, producing tracks for Adelaide’s own Tkay Maidza and gaining a substantial following on Soundcloud remixing for names such as Parachute Youth, Sampology and Safia. Having only increased his presence both locally and internationally over the following two years, Paces is definitely one to watch!
A limited number of tickets are still available for Friday’s show, so grab one here and get your tropical on:
